For long life, drift-free operation, choose Super OMEGACLAD™ XL mineral insulated thermocouple cable and our rugged transition joint probes, which are available in Type K and N calibrations. PFA lead wire with a stainless steel overbraid resists abrasions and provides a cost-effective solution for environmental temperatures to 260°C (500°F). See the highlighted section in the table.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diameter is wrong The probe works great, however the tolerance for the diameter is too wide. I ordered 1/16" probe, but it does not fit into 1/16" lumen. I measured the diameter of the probe with a digital caliper and the diameter was 1.64mm instead of 1.59mm (1/16")

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy. Inaccurate readings after a month. Flimsy probe. Bent with minimal force during product placement. Made final desired use sub optimal. After a month of use, probe now reads 30 to 40 degrees below actual temp. My most expensive thermocouple and it's useless.

What is the temperature rating for the Ultra High Temperature Silica Ceramic With Inconnel Overbraid?

Can the probe be bent?

Will this come NIST traceable calibrated? Can it be Accredited Calibration... with uncertainties?

Regarding the OMEGACLAD XL alloy sheath, are there any concerns for corrosion occurring when exposed to alumina, silica, magnesia, or zirconium for extended periods of time at high temperatures?
