*Move on up to our newest line of digital panel meters with Modbus connectivity, universal inputs, and simple PC programming - DPPT Series.*

The OMEGA™ iSeries meters with alarms offer flexibility in process measurement and alarm applications, accepting 10 different thermocouple types, 18 RTD combinations or 4 process voltage/ current inputs and providing 2 relay alarm outputs and a large multicolor, programmable display. Easily configured options include 11 different alarm conditions. Front panel configuration buttons allow the user to select the type of input, the alarm conditions and the resulting display color. Process inputs are fully scalable, supporting virtually all engineering units with a selectable decimal point providing a perfect solution for pressure, flow or other process inputs.Standard features include a built-in 24 Vdc excitation source for transmitters or other devices and a universal power supply that accepts 90 to 240 Vac. A low power option is available that supports 24 Vac or 12 to 36 Vdc.

Plug into the DPPT panel meters for modbus connectivity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Pleased with the product. Easy to program , preforms well. Shipping is a little slow, and even though I ordered the product from Omega located in Connecticut, the product shipped from California, and had I known this I would have selected a different shipping method.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cost effective and flexible! Replaced a unit that was damaged due to lightning strike. First one worked for years until millions of volts decided to destroy it. GREAT tech support when the manual and menu was less than obvious.

Is it possible to program the output to display a temperature reading directly correlated to the voltage input? (i.e. 2.175 VDC = 500°F or 4.51 VDC = 1000°F)

Asked by: sgarth
Yes, it can be done. If you start with the CNI32 or 16 or 8S, for strain, that unit has 10 point linearization and should be able to. However, we would like to better understand the application to confirm this and advise accurately. Please contact our Tech Support to best advise on the application and product recommendations. Thank you.

what does - opn mean on the display?

Asked by: Anonymous
"OPN" on the display of the I Series panel meters means that the input signal is missing. Check wiring to the input to make certain connections are all there and complete and sensors attached are functioning properly. You can also check the INPUT type selected in the menu to make certain that the setting matches the actual input type being applied.

Is this compatible with LC103B-2K load cells?

Asked by: Mark44
The CNi/DPi Series controller/displays are not compatible with strain gage based sensors like the LC103B load cells. The CNiS/DPiS variants of this series are compatible with strain gage based sensors but they will only accept a unipolar input signal so you would not be able to use the load cell to measure in both tension and compression. Suggest you look at Platinum Series Controllers/Displays CN32PT,CN16PT,CN8PT,DP32PT,DP16PT and DP8PT.
